My paintings are designed to gently tease the viewer: slowly draw them into the pictorial space. Let the play of colour, form and dimension interact in a quiet act of drama. Glanced at briefly from across a room and pull the viewer ever closer into their grasp until they dominate the field of view.

The paintings are created to tease before they please, to work hard for the space they inhabit. To dominate by stealthy submission of the blank canvas surrounding them.
